This month we have invited to cook at Planque chef Bao La, who is just fresh out of a residency at Le Tontine Bistrot in Paris. Born in Australia to Vietnamese parents, Bao grew up around the kitchen at his family restaurant in Brisbane.

After sharpening his cooking skills in Sydney alongside mentors Dan Hong and Jowett Yu at Mr. Wong, Bao went on to open the brasserie Le Garçon Saigon in Hong Kong. A platform that allowed him to introduce the city to dishes rarely found outside of Vietnam. 

Today Bao is the at the helm of Madam Kew, in Saigon, where an abundance of fresh herbs, spices and bright colours make for a vibrant and uplifting cuisine. 

Join us for a dinner to explore the plentiful and addictive flavours of Vietnam alongside a selection of wines from our cellar. 

The menu will be a set, priced at £75 per person, with beverages charged additionally. Seatings will be available from 6:00 to 9:00pm. 

Please note that due to the nature of this event, we will not be able to accommodate dietaries.
